Ontmoetingen in de Calabi-Yau ruimte.

Wie wil kennismaken met een selectie werken (25-tal) rond dit thema , tentoongesteld in de ontvangstruimtes van de bank, is welkom op de vernissage op donderdag 7 juni 2007 vanaf 19 u.
Aanmelden bij KBC is verplicht. (herman.decoster@kbc.be)
Deze zeefdrukken-monotypes werden gerealiseerd in de periode 2005-2007.

Later kan de tentoonstelling uitsluitend bezocht worden op afspraak. (ludo.vanroy@pandora.be)

Writing and printing are my favourite gestures...

How can we show hidden dimensions and transform them into visual arts?
Mathematicians can, and also artists can.
I love both.
The transformation of ideas and pure materials (ink, paint, paper, wathever,...) can move people. Maybe art can't save the world but it can transform it into beautiful places to live and share.
This artwork was created as a part of the cyclus "Welcome in the Calabi-Yau space" after meeting/reading Brain Greenes' "The fabric of the cosmos".
Believe me, it changed me...
